First formed as a duo and premiered at manchester jazz festival in 2015, Tori Freestone and Alcyona Mick present this latest project as a trio with experimental vocalist Brigitte Beraha.
All three have a spontaneous, interactive approach to playing, aiming to take audiences on an engaging journey through their sound world and follow whichever direction the music takes them in.
With influences including Brazilian music, English folk, Latin, Arabic, free playing and Thelonious Monk, their performances are packed full of originality and joy.
“Here fiery, there lyrical…Simple touching melodies and full of wit, insight and delight,” – Jazzthetik mag
