Kantos Chamber Choir comprises the top choral singers across the North West who have begun or are about to begin their professional careers. Since its formation in 2015, Kantos has risen to be at the forefront of choral singing in Manchester. The choir prides itself on the originality of its concerts, performing both well-known and new compositions in innovative and exciting ways. In addition to our own concerts, Kantos regularly performs for the BBC Radio 4’s Daily Service and Sunday Worship programmes. Other recent engagements include a recording with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra for a Radio 3 drama production of Anthony Burgess’ ‘Oedipus’; a recording with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra; two recordings with the RNCM Wind Orchestra; a performance at Stoller Hall alongside the NSW Arts Unit and an album release of contemporary Christmas carols for the record label Prima Facie. For more information please see our website https://www.kantoschamberchoir.com/.

We are thrilled to be going on our first tour around the North of England in July 2018, with concerts in Manchester (3rd), Sheffield (4th), York (6th) and Richmond (7th).
