Intimate Notes

A concert of chamber music masterpieces from the late Baroque. In celebration of 325 years since the birth of JS Bach, we present a programme including works for the two most popular wind instruments of the Baroque period, recorder & flute. The concert includes Bach’s timeless Partita for solo flute and his exuberant French Suite No. 6 for solo harpsichord alongside colourful works by Bach’s great colleague and close friend Georg Philipp Telemann.

Tickets for concerts at St Ann’s Church are priced from £5 to £20 with discounts on some tickets for the over 65s, young people and the unwaged. Tickets for the performance of Handel’s Messiah at Manchester Cathedral are priced from £10 to £25.
