We welcome visits from schools or any other organisations who would like to look around and find out more about our beautiful church. These visits can be booked through the Administrator or the Verger by contacting the church either by email, phone or by coming in for a chat.

If you are organising a commercial tour, please book ahead and consider a contribution to the work of St Ann’s in return for your enjoyment of and access to our fantastic and historic church.

St Ann’s is located in the centre of Manchester, between Deansgate and Cross Street.

Arriving by public transport

If you are coming by train or bus, it is easiest to use one of the Metroshuttle buses to travel from the terminus to St Ann’s Square.  The number one (orange) or number two (green) Metroshuttle buses pass closest.

The nearest Metrolink (tram) stops are Market Street, Exchange Square, St Peter’s Square, or Deansgate-Castlefield.

Arriving by car

The nearest on-street parking is available on King Street.  Off-street parking is available on King Street West, behind House of Fraser (Kendal’s). NCP supply a complete list of car parks near St Ann’s.

There are also disabled spaces at both ends of St Ann’s Street, which can be accessed from Deansgate.
